At first glance I could not see any relationship between the two subjects and the comment, but after showing it to my partner it became clearer.
Fire hydrants are used as a last futile effort to extinguish flame and the church is usually the last refuge of desperate people in times of distress. It is cold comfort for both after a tragety.
Tell me if I’m on the right train of thought.
