Description: A sound installation located at a new seat with words listen inscribed in six different languages onto the seat's bluestone footing.

The Listening Place is a contemplative space situated near the Olive Grove — a symbol of cultural diversity. The sound installation is a mix of stories from current and past users of the park. The coincidence of voices asks us to listen to each other and reminds us that everyone has a story to tell.

When the sound work is silent the user is invited to listen to the sounds of the park.
