In my next life I’d like to be a tech head.
It’s every visual artist’s nightmare to have techology fail and end up with no images to talk about in a public forum. It was no easier in the days of slide projectors either. The carousel would jam or the slides would end up back the front or up side down. When this happened you’d struggle away and try to explain the concepts without pictures while cursing privately and apologising publicly.
So it’s happening to me again, this time in cyberspace. It’s quite a simple problem really, when I hit the upload button after a few seconds it returns the message Failed to write file to disk. In those moments you realise the power of the image and there is no way to convey these ideas and qualities through text. So here I am again cursing and apologising waiting for technical support to to sort it out. In my next life I’d like to be a tech head.
I was intending to start posting city work again and that will have to wait. In the meantime……I’ll have to come up with another solution.
Locked out
Been trying to upload new images but have encountered an unexpected software glitch. Hope to get it fixed anytime now.
